In 2019, under France's G7 presidency, the French Ministry of Economy and Finance launched the G7P with the Gates Foundation — a bold initiative to address persistent gender gaps in access to finance across the continent.
Seven years later, the Partnership stands as a testament to the power of collective action — anchored in feminist diplomacy, mutual accountability, and local partnerships. The G7P has amplified women's access to financial and digital tools and fostered an ecosystem where advocacy, policy, research, and implementation converge to create lasting change.
